These are the Ignition car parts Ltd Online Store Terms and Conditions of Sale to which all online purchases are subject. We reserve the right to change these terms and conditions at any time, without notice. Any changes will take effect when posted on this website. By using this website you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
These Terms and Conditions do not affect your statutory rights.

All prices are shown in GBP sterling excluding V.A.T. On the checkout page is where the full price + postage is displayed. If you are outside the EU VAT zone, Vat will not be charged

Contract
Acceptance of your order and the completion of the contract between us (Ignition car parts Ltd) and you, (the customer), will take place when the goods have been paid for by you and despatched by us. Any email, order confirmation or other electronic acknowledgement by us of receipt of an order does not constitute legal acceptance by Ignition car parts Ltd of your order.
In the event that there are any errors regarding price or description, we reserve the right to notify you as soon as possible and give you the options to proceed with this revised order at the correct price/description, or to cancel the order. In these circumstances, upon cancellation, your credit/debit card will be refunded.

1b. Price Information
The prices shown are only applicable to purchases made via the Ignition car parts Ltd Online store.
Special Offers and promotions advertised in the press or other media may be excluded unless specifically advertised as available online.
All offers are subject to availability and while stocks last.
Please note; the total price includes 4.5% credit card fee and 5.5% for the packing box, postage label, packing tape, paper for the invoice, envelope, sticky docs enclosed labels, and labour charge for packing, this money will not be returned if the goods are returned, as these can not be reused.
All goods must be returned, before a refund is given. We will inspect and test the parts any parts found to have been fitted or damaged will forfeit any refund, a partial a refund may be given at our discretion or by agreement before the part is returned.
Please do not order if you do not agree with our terms.
If an administrative error has resulted in an incorrect price being displayed, we reserve the right to correct that price and notify you accordingly. In these circumstances, it will be deemed that a contract has not been entered into and you will not be bound to continue with your purchase. You will be asked to email us to confirm that you wish to proceed at the correct price, however, should you choose not to do so, and your monies will be refunded to your credit/debit card in full. The repayment of such monies paid to us will be the extent of our liability to you in the event of pricing errors.

2. Ordering Goods
To order goods from our online store, you need to select your required items from the product information page(s) they appear on. These pages can be accessed by selecting one of our main product categories, either from the top navigation bar or from the list of categories and sub-categories displayed on the centre of your screen. Please note we accept no responsibility for supplying the wrong parts if ordered by phone. Unless the correct part number is quoted. Please make sure you look at the picture of the part supplied, check the part numbers and the vehicle compatibility, before you order. And 10% handling charge is made for returned goods. See note
To place an order online, go to the product information page and then follow the steps outlined below:
1) Product Information Page: Check the availability of the product at the top right of the product information page. For products that are labelled "In Stock", simply click the Add to cart button on the product information page. Please Note; If a product is not available the display will show "Phone before ordering" or "2-3 days delivery".
2) Shopping Basket Page: After making your selections, click on the Checkout button. You will be able to review and amend your order before proceeding through the checkout pages, as well as choosing your postage option.
3) Delivery Address Page: Please complete your details in the appropriate boxes, your must include email and phone contact details so we can contact you if we need to discuss your order, please include your postal address of where you want the part delivered.
4) Details Of Payment and Billing Address Page: We will then ask for details of your Credit card details and billing address - this MUST be the address at which your Credit/Debit card is registered - . Please complete your details in the appropriate boxes and click the Next button.
5) Order Summary Page: Finally, this page is to check and confirm your details of shipping address, credit/debit card details and products ordered if all of the above is correct press the "order" button to finalise your order.
6) Confirmation: On this page your order number as well as your email address and password in case you want to order again will appear and Ignition car parts Ltd will confirm receipt of your order by sending an email to you, using the address you supplied when registering with our website. This email is only an acknowledgement and does not constitute legal acceptance by us of your order.
All orders placed on Ignition car parts Ltd are subject to stock availability and to the validation checks described in section 4 below. Also please refer to section 1 above regarding incorrect prices. No contract will exist until payment has been received and goods have been dispatched. This will be deemed to be our acceptance of your order and to have been effectively communicated to you. Please note that the only language in which the contract can be concluded is English. 3. Payment
We accept payment by most major credit or debit cards registered at UK addresses. But not American Express.
Please ensure that the expiry date of your credit/debit card is after the anticipated despatch date of your order. Payment will be debited from your account just before the despatch of your goods, and if your payment card has expired, we will be unable to take payment and fulfil your order.
We regret that we are unable to accept payment by cheque or cash postal Orders or any other form of payment other than credit or debit cards, unless agreed by us before the order is taken. |
4. Validation Checks
All credit and debit card holders are subject to validation checks and authorisation by the card issuer. If the issuer of your payment card refuses to authorise payment to us, we will not be liable for any delay or non-delivery.
In addition, in the interests of preventing fraudulent use of credit, debit and charge cards, Ignition car parts Ltd will validate the names, addresses and other information supplied during the order process against commercially available records (e.g Electoral Roll data, Credit Reference Services). A third party may also be instructed to complete these checks. By ordering from the Ignition car parts website you consent to such checks being made. We may need to contact you by telephone or email to verify details before we are able to process and dispatch your order or we may be unable to accept your order. Any information given may be disclosed to a registered Credit Reference Agency which may keep a record of the information. All information provided will be treated in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998. These measures are taken as extra protection for you, to ensure your online shopping experience with us is as safe and secure as possible.
5. Liability
The majority of card issuers cover all the charges that may result from unauthorised use of your credit card or debit cards, but some may limit your liability to £50. If you believe your credit or debit card has been subject to unauthorised use you should contact your card issuer without delay.

6. Delivery of Goods
United Kingdom.
For deliveries to non-mainland UK addresses and certain remote locations e.g. Scottish Isles, Isle of Man, Isle of Wight, Northern Ireland, Scottish Highlands and the Channel Islands there may be an additional delivery charge and slightly longer delivery lead-time. This charge will be shown clearly during the checkout process.
Goods can be delivered either to your home address, to an alternative address or to your work. Delivery to a third party is prohibited.
Deliveries to a garage know to us is acceptable, the garage will have to accept the payment of the goods if the credit card is found to be fraudulent.
Your order will be delivered either by courier service or by Royal Mail Special Delivery. A signature is required for all Royal Mail Special Delivery and courier deliveries.
If your order contains more than one product the individual products may, on occasions, be sent on multiple dispatches at no extra charge.

6a. Delivery Charges
How much does delivery cost?
The delivery charge for each item is listed on the checkout page.
When you add products to your shopping basket the appropriate charge will be added automatically. All delivery charges will be shown clearly throughout the checkout process. We make every effort to keep our delivery charges as low as possible.
6b. Delivery Times
You can choose from our Standard Delivery Service or Flexible Delivery Options.
Standard delivery of stocked items is normally within one working day.
Delivery times are calculated in working days - i.e. Monday to Friday inclusive (working day does not include weekends or National Bank Holidays). In case of Bank Holidays please allow an extra 2 working days.
Some items are delivered directly to you from the manufacturer (for example items marked in their product description of Original Bosch / Original Siemens / Original Pierburg may incur a longer delivery lead-time. This is shown on the product detail page.
For Next Day Delivery, orders must be placed by 3pm
Your order will be delivered either by Courier Service, by Royal Mail Special Delivery. A signature is required for all Royal Mail Special Delivery and courier deliveries. Goods delivered by courier should arrive between 9am and 5pm. All courier deliveries must be signed for. If you are out when the courier arrives the courier will leave a card with the contact number for you to call to arrange a suitable time for redelivery, or for you to collect the goods from the local depot.
Deliveries to non-Mainland UK or remote locations may take longer.
Please note that if your order is made up of a combination of items, deliveries may, on occasion be made separately.
Risk in the goods will pass to you on delivery.
We reserve the right to alter or amend delivery times in exceptional circumstances.
We do everything we can to meet the delivery time specified in this section, however occasionally delivery times may be affected by factors beyond our control and cannot be guaranteed. We will inform you if we become aware of an unexpected delay. In the event that we fail to meet a specified delivery date you will have the option of either cancelling your order and receiving a full refund, or continuing with the order and accepting a refund of any additional delivery charge we have made.
Delivery times quoted above can vary depending on stock availability and delivery location.

7. After-sales Service and Guarantees.
Please note we do not make any parts in the UK unless stated, we assemble and repair only.
All new faulty parts will have to be sent to the manufacture.
Any faulty parts to be returned must
Where applicable, details of manufacturer’s guarantees or service arrangements will be provided with the product. After sales service and warranty/guarantee claims will initially be dealt with by Ignition car parts Ltd.
Warranty claims: Any faulty parts have to be sent to back to the manufacture for testing. Any compensation will be sent directly to the purchaser. Not to Ignition car parts limited. Please note this could take up to 6 months.
We do not except liability claims for work done or faults diagnosed, tow charges accommodation or transportation, damage caused directly or indirectly by any parts supplied by Ignition car parts Ltd .

8. Returns
Please phone before you send in your goods
1a. Unwanted Goods wrong parts
If you decide that you do not want any item that we have delivered, we are happy to offer you an exchange or refund within 5 days of delivery, provided that it is returned to us in its original and unused condition (including in its original packaging), along with the wrapping and delivery note (as proof of purchase). A 10% handling charge applies, this is made up of a 4.5% credit card transaction cost and 5.5 % admin fee No postage will be refunded. Ref
Any order paid and then cancelled but not sent will be subject to a 4.5% handling charge this is made up of a 4.5% credit card charge.
Wrong parts ordered, we be replaced free of handling charges, less postage cost.
We accept no responsibility for supplying the wrong parts if ordered by phone. Unless the correct part number is quoted.
Wrong parts sent (I..E) Packed wrong will be replaced free; a pick up will be arranged for the incorrect parts at our cost.

In all cases, if you wish to return a product please call us on 01268 857 880 to advise us of a return, we will email you a returns note to complete and include with your product.

Items returned without proof of purchase may only be exchanged at the Manager’s discretion.
2) By post (if the item has been posted to you)
To return an item by post you must firstly contact Ignition car parts Ltd either by email, or telephone us on 01268 857 880. Items returned without a copy of their invoice cannot be accepted.
Let us know which item(s) you wish to return, and the details of any fault, along with your customer order number and your personal details and we will send you an email containing a returns note. When you receive this email, simply print out the returns note and place it in your parcel with the item(s) you wish to return. Please package your item(s) securely, returning in the original outer packaging where possible. All items returned by post (unless faulty) are returned at your cost. You are advised to obtain a certificate of posting (available from all Post Offices at no charge) when returning items by post.
If you post your item(s) back to us, we will endeavour to send you a replacement or refund your payment within 14 days, providing your copy of your invoice is included with the items returned.
3) Collection by Ignition car parts Ltd (larger items delivered to you by courier)
Depending on the size and weight of the item you wish to return, it may be necessary for Ignition car parts Ltd to collect your goods from you and we may charge you for collecting the goods if they are not faulty. We will inform you if collection is necessary when you contact us about your return.
To arrange for an item to be collected by Ignition car parts Ltd , you must firstly contact Ignition car parts Ltd either by email, or telephone us on 01268 857 880. Items returned without a copy of their invoice cannot be accepted.
If we collect your item(s), we will endeavour to send you a replacement or refund your payment within 14 days, providing you have a copy of your invoice included with the items returned.

9. Warranties
9a. Our own parts
All our parts come with a warranty which is dependant on whether they are NEW units, RECONDITIONED or USED units these are clearly stated on the product’s description before the checkout stage of transaction.
All NEW units we supply come with a 2 years warranty. No cash refunds. Replacement units will be sent within the 1st year of the warranty, and a charge will be made until the faulty unit is returned. Units after this time must be sent in for testing. These will be repaired and sent back free.
All RECONDITIONED units come with a 1 years warranty. No cash refunds. Replacement units will be sent within the 1st year of the warranty, and a charge will be made until the faulty unit is returned. Units after this time must be sent in for testing. These will be repaired and sent back free.
All USED units come with a 6 month warranty. No cash refunds. These units must be returned if faulty within the given warranty time and will be repaired and returned free of charge.
9b. Surcharges
All distributors are sold on an exchange basis and are subject surcharge which will be refunded when the old unit is returned to us.
9c. Original OE Siemens / Bosch / Pierburg units ETC
All of the original parts we supply come with the manufactures 1 year warranty on new parts.
Certain OE airflow meters are exchange only this means we need the old unit back and this is subject to a surcharge.
10. Complaints and Queries

When returning goods, if no fault is found we do not refund delivery charges and may charge for collecting the goods if they are not taken into a Ignition car parts Ltd store. 10% handling charge applies. See notes1.B
We will endeavour to process returns within 14 working days of receipt.
This does not affect your statutory rights.
12. Colours, Specifications, Weights & Sizes
Representations of colour online are as accurate as our photographic and electronic processes will allow. Please note that colour online can also be affected by the calibrations of different output devices.
We reserve the right to alter any product specifications without prior notice.

Goods remain the property of Ignition car parts Ltd until paid for in full as with all previous invoices and credit notes. The signed credit account application form also includes this statement. Ignition car parts Ltd retains the right to remove any product whether paid for or not in payment for any defaulted account.
All part numbers and makers names are used for reference purposes only.
Ignition car parts Ltd will endeavour to deliver all goods on the date agreed, however will not accept any liability for failure to do so for any reason.
All prices quoted are provisional and are subject to change without prior notice.
All prices verbally quoted will exclude VAT.
Surcharges will be applied in addition to the listed price on all units supplied by Ignition car parts Ltd, when old units are returned a credit will be raised for the value of the surcharge subject to the old unit being serviceable and of a type similar to the units sold to the customer by Ignition car parts Ltd
All old units for surcharge credit must be returned for credit within six months from the date of purchase, any old units returned for credit after this period may be refused credit. Surcharges expire after 1 year; credits will not be raised for old units returned after 1 year of purchase.
Ignition car parts Ltd will guarantee all its new products sold for 12 months from date of fitting (6 months for taxis and commercial units) provided that the units have not failed due to external faults or misuse.
Ignition car parts Ltd will not be liable for any labour charges incurred or consequential losses arising from the failure of the unit.
Data Protection Act 1998 – Sole Trader Customers only
Any data concerning you (e.g. invoices, sales ledger information) may be passed to our financers for the purpose of ourselves obtaining finance.
All accounts must be paid by the 25th of the following month failure to do so will result in, Credit terms being withdrawn from the company.
